Faced with a constantly evolving digital environment, UNESCO has embarked on the redefinition of its online strategy in order to respond to new communication challenges, particularly on social networks. Through the Around The World Application, the aim was to highlight the Organization’s presence on Facebook and to increase its visibility among an increasingly connected audience.
To do so, the application had to present the actions carried out by UNESCO in a clear, comprehensive and multilingual manner, around a playful experience in harmony with the current need to arouse emotion and surprise.
A Twofold objective
An interactive map gives free rein to the geographic and institutional discovery of the Organization.
News from the official facebook pages is gathered in a single feed, which can be continuously updated.
